Our Founder

Michael J Beaver founded Wenventure Inc in 1986. In 2015, He tragically passed away in an accident and left the company to his family. His wife Diane has continued to carry on his legacy since. Mike was a perfect example of true American patriot. He was proud of our armed forces and continually gave back to local area veterans with the support of the community through the Wendy’s Frosty Key Tag program. He was a loyal and active participant of the Special Forces Association, where he could be seen at area cemeteries showing respect to fallen veterans. Mike started with Wendy’s International in 1978 as an assistant manager in Troy, Ohio, and worked his way up to become a franchise area director. Once learning the franchising end of the business, he purchased several Wendy’s restaurants in western Pennsylvania in 1986. With hard work and dedication, he quickly turned that investment into a successful business spanning over Pennseylvania and Delaware. Mike enjoyed hiking with friends, riding his Harley and spending time on his farm. With all of Mike’s successes, his proudest legacy was his family.
